  • Reception - Monday and Friday

All children are asked to come to school in their PE kits suitable for the weather as all PE is currently outside. 

School PE kits is a white t-shirt with black/navy shorts. A black tracksuit may be worn when the weather is cold. 

Please make sure all of your child's PE kits is labelled!

EasyPeasy App

The EasyPeasy app is a free, user-friendly app for parents of children aged 0–5 that provides fun, evidence-based play activities and tips to support early child development. It sends regular activity ideas via video clips and instructions through the app and SMS reminders, all based on child development experts. The goal is to help parents create a positive home learning environment by transforming everyday moments into playful learning experiences, and it includes a supportive community for peer-to-peer advice.

As Part of Early Reading with follow the Phonics scheme Read Write Inc. Children are grouped based on their reading ability. In Reception children focus on learning set 1 and set 2 sounds. When practicing at home make sure you are saying the pure sounds and not adding the 'uh' sound on the end.
