St Patrick's Class
Homework is important as it reinforces and challenges pupils’ learning.
- Your child should read every night to an adult and have their reading record signed.
- Learn their spellings. These can be found in their Home/ School Diary. There is space in their diary to "Look, Cover, Write and Check."
- Practice mental calculations.
In addition to this, more formal homework will be set on a Friday to be completed by the following Wednesday.
This weeks homework (15/06/2018)
Year 1: It has been a busy week and we have all worked hard with our Phonics Screening Check. Homework is to have a relaxing weekend and write a few sentences to tell me what you did.
Year 2: Reading comprehension.
Homework is in their blue homework books.
Click here for a blank handwriting practice sheet.
Spelling lists will be found in your child's planner. Please ask in class if your child's spellings are missing.
Also: You could log on to Bug Club and My Maths - Let us know if you have difficulties logging in or doing the task.
If you read on Bug Club remember to get it signed by an adult in your Home/School diary. This can count towards your total number of times read.
Have a lovely weekend.
